Do you also experience climate anxiety and get stressed about the Black Friday rush? We don't wish to be a part of it, instead we are sharing our best tips on how to make everyday life a little greener. #greenfriday

    1. Carefully consider your potential purchase. Do you need to shop or is there something you want to do? Can you buy a secondhand product?
    2. Replace period products with washable alternatives. Such as cloth pads, cloth tampons or menstrual cups.
    3. Reduce plastic by switching from shampoo and conditioner bottles to shampoo cakes and apple cider vinegar. Rinse your hair with apple cider vinegar instead of using conditioner.
    4. Change your toothbrush to a compostable bamboo one.
    5. Replace plastic wrap with beeswax cloths. Or why not make your own as the Eco tip set suggests?
    6. Replace the kitchen roll and wet wipes with washable cloth wipes in organic cotton. It's easy to make your own from old sheets or towels if you prefer not to purchase them.
    7. Make wise choices when cleaning. Soap, vinegar and detergent goes a long way.
    8. Makeup removal can easily be made greener by replacing the cleansing pads with washable makeup pads. It's simple to make your own if you prefer not to purchase them.
    9. Eat more vegetarian foods. It takes far less energy to produce vegetarian raw products than animal ones. Follow closely for inspiration. Or invest in the Green Curious cookbook, which features tasty vegan recipes and an emphasis on reducing food waste by reusing leftovers and making the most of food that's past its sell-by date.
    10. Buy organic raw materials as much as possible.
    11. Eat according to the seasons and shop locally. Very low climate impact.
    12. Choose meat carefully. Fish and game, for example, have a much lower environmental impact.
    13. Bring your own box to the store instead of buying new bags and boxes every visit. A large shopping bag and smaller washable fruit bags reduce the use of plastic.
    14. Hole in your trousers or broken mobile phone? Mend it yourself or bring it in for repair instead of throwing it away. The cobbler is your new best friend. Do you find it tough to repair? Send your clothes to your tailors.
    15. Recycle, sort and compost everything you can!
    16. Set up clothes swap events with your friends and swap clothes with each other instead of buying new ones.
    17. Say no to advertising in your letterbox
    18. Replace the old smelly disposable nappies with cloth nappies
    19. In most instances, washing at 40 degrees is enough to get your laundry clean. Use environmentally labelled detergent and follow the dosage on the detergent pack. Using more detergent than you really need is common. Air-drying your laundry is the best option from an environmental point of view, followed by the tumble dryer.
    20. Fabric softener is a real environmental menace, as well as actually ruining the function of textiles. Use a little vinegar in the rinse dispenser instead. Works just as well, and is much better for your health and the health of the planet.
    21. Replace the nursing pads with washable nursing pads. Environmentally friendly and economical.
    22. Cut down on impulse buying. Think about the long-term and choose consciously. Check if Tradera or Tise has what you are looking for before you buy a new sweater or jacket for example. Sell old clothes and gadgets you have grown tired of. Check for local Facebook groups, where secondhand stuff can find new homes. Your rubbish could be someone else's gold!
    23. Get involved, read on and join various forums to share tips with others and get useful tips. We find inspiration at the Climate Club and Eco Tip.
